About Us


Transitions Lincolnwood Staff:

Alexandra (Sandy) Dellutri, LCSW, ACSW, BCD is a therapist, trainer, and consultant who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with individuals, couples, and groups. She specializes in relationship issues, life transitions, and developmental issues with young adults, adults, and seniors. Sandy has advanced training in working with adult survivors of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. She has served as the Director of Counseling at colleges and universities for over 25 years and has vast experience in working with college students, faculty, and staff. She has presented seminars and workshops on topics such as communication and conflict resolutions skills, understanding anger, loss and grief, intimacy in relationships, and sexual assault and abuse to both professional and community audiences.

Sandy is available at the Lincolnwood Transitions office Tuesday through Thursday.

Edith Harshbarger, LCSW, ACSW, BCD is a therapist who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of relationship problems, with advanced training in Family Systems. Stressing communication and conflict resolution skills, Edee has worked extensively with couples, families, and individuals on dating, marital, divorce, remarriage, parenting, step-family, and anger management issues.

Edee is available at the Lincolnwood Transitions office Tuesday through Thursday, where she sees clients for both day and evening appointments.

Transitions Oak Park Staff:

Tina Birnbaum, LCPC, CCMHC is a therapist, trainer, and consultant who is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She specializes in relationship issues and individual and family development. Tina frequently presents workshops and seminars related to parenting, family life, communication and conflict resolution skills. Tina is a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor with advanced training in Family Systems. She is co-author of Changing Your Mind About Love: What You Need to Know to Have the Relationship of a Lifetime.

Tina is available at the Oak Park Transitions office Monday daytime and evening, Wednesday daytime and evening, Thursday daytime, and Saturday morning.
